Unfortunate incident in Dennison, MN

Tractor Pull in Dennison today. Later in the day there was an issue with the sled unhooking from a puller. While the sled operator and several others were working on getting the puller unhooked the blade tractor operator stopped to the side and behind the sled. The sled operator got back in and started backing to return to the starting line, one of the sleds rear tires drove over the corner of the blade of the blade tractor blowing out the tire on the sled. The sled operator got out and threw a temper tantrum for the whole crowd to witness. He used ALOT of curse words with a loud voice over and over. He also screamed at the blade operator, blaming everything on him. A large crowd was on hand, many with small children in attendance. A very unfortunate and uncomfortable situation.
 
a shame that happened,, accidents happen all the time just have to keep your cool and go on atleast nobody got hurt,
 
Is this a for hire sled? If so, please share the name of the outfit for all to know. That is not how you conduct yourself on the track or represent your business. If you have a problem, you handle it off the track. Regardless, he should be in control of his machine at all times. He should be aware of who and what is around him, just like everyone else on the track operating a piece of equipment.
 
Yes the sled operators reaction was uncalled for. But why sit behind the sled even partially? The sled is going to back up eventually. Why stay in his blind spot?????
 
Would you have been mad if that happened and you had to replace tires. I work the track a lot at the pulls that I go to and everybody knows to keep the grader tractor and equipment away from the sled and the other tractors. Very simple stay out of the way. There isn't a person out there that doesn't get mad when something gets broke from people not paying attention.
