Granite IA pull

Does anyone know why Granite raised the drawbar from
18" to 20" in their stock class. I always liked
pulling with the 18" drawbar. If they would have
kept the 18" and dropped the speed limit to 2 1/2
MPH they would have had the perfect stock class.

if you want your own rules then put on and promote a pull,see how many whinners like you show up.

As a matter of fact we do put on our own pull on the weekend of July 4, with our own rules. We had 119 hooks this year and everyone had a good time.

I agree, they don't really have a "stock" farm class like a lot of the other pulls have. My self I like the rules/classes Humboldt has. When you sign up they give you a card with rules so you know. Any tractor show should have a stock farm class.

Because people like the ones from Alcester with the Oliver's were running at 20 inches while the rest of us were following the rules at 18" If you want to pull stock tractors at Granite they have a pull for them too but the tractor must be exhibited. The rock it isn't.
