Hot 2 cylinder class.....Labor Day weekend in NC Illinois

This labor day weekend at our pull in Paw Paw, IL we would like to have a hot 2 cylinder class. Since there is not allot of big 2 cylinders in our area I thought I would ask on here if there would be much interest. Weight would be either 6 or 6500 since I know most G's can get down to that. As far as rules it would be run what ya brung......just want a nice, fun, pull without getting into whats allowed and what is not. We don't get to pull with the bigger G's that are running around so I think it would be fun.

Just posting here to see what the interest level would be.

Are you scared to pull against the 4 and 6cyl. tractors? It's the only reason I can see to separate them. If you were to pull with the rest you could see them pull and how they compare.The IH, AC, Oliver ect. guys seem to get along fine but the jd bunch is a breed by themselves.

No, the entire class I pull in is 4 and 6 cylinder tractors. I always end up somewhere is the middle which is usually within 10-15 of everyone else.

In this area there is just not any of the 800+ cubed Gs you see roaming around so I've just never had a chance to pull with one.
 
What he is proposing is fine, if you are a JD guy. Good way to see how things line up. It's his prerogative. No different than when, at one point, I was looking at buying a sled. I was going to start my own club with a flat 2500 rpm limit. In the rules, no tractors with less than three cylinders allowed to hook. It's still a free country. Sometimes it's cool to try different stuff n see what works.
