How much rear tire pressure for tractor pulling?

My brother and I are taking a John Deere A and Case DC to the local fair. It has been years since either of us have done any pulling. My question is how much air should be run in 13.6 X 38 abd 14,9 X 38?

It depends mostly on the track surface.

Soft track, soft tire. Hard track, hard tire. Id start around 10 psi

Start at 10 psi. That seems to be pretty good for those sizes on stock narrow rims.

Tire size and width, especially width will play a part. I know guys that can get away with running 8psi in 6500 lbs class where as I need to be around 13-15 otherwise they squat too hard and I lose hitch height.
