farmall m gov spring

I know this was just discussed a couple days ago, but I can't seem to find which is that correct spring to get. Could somebody just post the specs on what the spring should be as far as wire thickness, length and all the rest?

John,
I just went to my local hardware store and found a spring that was the same length but stronger and it worked great. Bed springs from a twin sized bed work good.

the one I use is 3/4 in dia outside , .110 wire , 2 5/8 long hook to hook .
