88 weight loss

Hello all. Got a friend with a stock 88 looking to go on a diet. Any idea how much weight would be lost removing the cultivator lift and belt pulley drive? He is looking for a set of stamped wheels to replace the cast but they are proving hard to find. Thanks

The hard part is finding Oliver center(5-star). New centers will be 4-star like MM and Deere etc. I got a set of old Oliver centers for my 66 and new rims from a local weld shop that sells a lot of tractor tires and wheels etc.

Since the pulley drive and cultivator lift are easily removed he's more curious what that will lose him

any 9 bolt pressed steel wheel should fit, they are not brand exclusive. An 88 with pressed steel rear wheels, a narrow front, no hyd or belt pulley should make 4500# class easily.
