v-p racing fuel

Vp 110 is 110 octane gasoline.

M1 is pure methanol and has a way different air/fuel ratio.

It won't work without major carb modifications.

Everything you need to know about octane.
Methyl Alcohol will lower the intake manifold temperature via heat absorption during evaporation of the relatively large volume of fuel.

M1 Racing Methanol has a 99.95% minimum purity. Recommended for all Methanol-Racing-Applications. Pretty much sounds like Methanol to me. If you are allowed to run Methanol sounds like the best.

It will eat up your carb very rapidly & if not highly modified you'll never get a rich enough mixture. Try their Q16 or 118 if you need more than 110 octane.

Gasoline requires an air/fuel ratio of 12.5 - 13 for maximum power, while methanol requires an air/fuel ratio of 6.

Since your engine is gonna suck the same amount of air regardless if what fuel you use, you need to double (aprox) the amount of fuel your carb delivers to run meth.

Also, meth is hard on gaskets and seals. If you don't rebuild your carb with meth compatable gaskets, it's gonna leak everywhere in short order.

Yes meth is best if your looking for max possible power, but it's not as simple as pour it in and go.

i just came across this deal but it doesn't sound like what i want to get into so thanks for all of the advise.
