farmall head

Can i run a 362433r1 head on a 4 inch m with firecrater pistons with half inch dome. The chamber looks smaller than the 8060 head, wondering if any clearance problems, thanks for any replies, ken.

doubt if you'll have any problems , put play dough on top of the domes and turn it over by hand and check it out .

i will try that, i don't know the chamber sizes or what compression it would be, but the depth of the chambers look shallower,

the lp head cc is 140 the 8060 head is 200 if you know the cc of the dome the compression ratio is no problem .

your right but we have to have the dome cc .with a 40 cc dome your cr will be 10.3 to 1 which will require 110 octane or you'll lose the dome on your piston with a meltdown .

I thought the 362433r1 head was a gas head, with bigger chambers than propane, but smaller than an 8060 but im not sure, that would be to much compression if it is a 140 cc chamber. I had 97 lbs. with 8777 head before, i will try to do the ccs on it and see what i come up with, thanks again.

gas head is 180 and the 364586r1 is the lp head if your going to buy a head buy the lp repo on ebay . get the cr over 10 to 1 . cr with a gas head and 40 cc dome is 7.9 about 195 static and practically no help on Horse power .

Thanks for all the info, i"m not buying a head i have the 8060 and 362433 head already, put new sleeves and rings and had the cam redone at bullitt cam, just wondering which head would be the best, the tractor is only used for pulling, don"t want to get comp high enough to have problems, just pull better, maybe beat a john deere or two.
