I saw the Goat at a wake (not his) tonight. Said he hadn't got to doing any make ready for Sunday, but was gonna pull anyway! Guess Stumpy's planning on having his "M" & "A" both there. I prolly won't make it, so have a blast for me too!

It doesn't look like it. Their schedule doesn't work very well, and their rules don't either. Tomorrow was looking very iffy yesterday but now it is looking perfect. The track is on the sandy side so residual moisture should not be a problem. I know that you wouldn't be able to make it on short notice. The one that was scheduled for today was canceled.

I would say that it went very well. There were a lot of guys there with their tractors, probably sixty tractors, and three hooks were allowed for around 180 hooks which meant for a long day. Bill, as you said hadn't gotten to preparing so I helped him out some to get set up, but due to lack of tires he didn't fare well. I got two firsts out of five hooks.
