lug bolt size

Going to the hardware store. What is that standard size lug bolt used for those IH 9 bolt hubs?

The hubs I have are not the ones with u-bolts but are 2 piece cast M & W hubs that clamp around the axle. They use bolts that thread into the hub. They are fine thread and the ones I ordered were 9/16-18 NF with 1 1/8" of thread and 7/8" head. I found that the thread size was correct but the bolts were too short. Ended up getting some 2" long bolts from a local mechanic shop that worked good but do stick through the back of the hub slightly. Hope this helps.

Thanks CSK for the info. These ended up being 5/8 but they are IH hubs. The hardware store only had lug bolts the length you mentioned. Definitely too short. Haha guess I'm going with regular bolts by the pound. I don't want to go on a lost wallet Case IH shopping spree.
