JD A 9 bolt hub adapter plates

Im in search of a set of adapter plates to go from my cast
wheel hubs to a Set of 9 bolt wheels. Anyone know who has a
set or is making them for a late A? And how much?

Does anyone have a good picture of the cap bros hubs? I'd like to know how they work, and how they secure onto the axle.

It looks like a coned type taper that locks on by driving he cone into the taper, however I don't see how that stops them from spinning unless one of them is keyed into the axle. Talking John deere's here.

I'm fairly confident I could build these for much cheaper, but I'm curious on the function exactly.

The center collet is splined and go over the axle, three bolts go thru the flange of that collet and screw into the hub center. Once those bolts are thightened they press the collet into into the tapered hub center, clamping the collet around the axle and wedgeing the two pieces together. That in itself makes for a very good hold, the three bolts that actuate that clamping force would keep the collet from spinning in the center if they got loose.
