I need help found a good 501 and want to put in a farmall 560 need help with what I need to grather up to get this done not have to spend weeks to get together

All you need is a flywheel, and redrill your engine backing plate for the 501. The flywheel can be found at H&H farm repair in WI. I think his name was Mike. Use a heavy duty 6 button clutch, a 986 pressure plate, and your good to go. Youll have to build a manifold, or scour junkyards for one off an old piece of machinery, and fabricate front engine mounts. Youll have to grind the corners of the 501 bellhousing, and grind the framerail mounting ears on the tractor. Also, unless you notch the left top rail, the oil filter housing will need to be removed. Youll need a remote filter, and some type of oil pressure regulator.( 501 regulator is in filter base). Hope this helps.
