What happens when a crank is turned .010

If a crank is turned downed .010 what happens to the bearing? I assume the bearing is roughly .010 more material than a "STD" bearing?

You get 10 under bearings......always have the machine shop supply them with the crankshaft service job.

what he said ^^^. .010 off a crank, .010 more material on the bearing. .020 off, .020 more on the bearing, etc.

Yep, the bearing shell is .005" thicker.

Yes, .005 more X2 = .010 thicker bearing

Bearing ID is .010" smaller. Bearing shell is .005" thicker.
