Looking to build a case puller. 6000lb class. Should I go with the 730 or 830 rear end. What is the difference in the two weight wise and and strength wise. I've herd that the only difference is bell housing size and the size of the pinion shaft. Any help out there?

The pre-comfort king 730 and 830 rear ends are the same, the comfort king ones are a lot heavier, the bell housing is longer with a 4 cylinder engine, most parts will bolt up.The pre-comfort king rear end should hold up to most of what ever you want to put to it.

I have a 400 rear as well as a 900,930 and 1030. I don"t know how light you want it but I have 1030 with a 504 from a 2470 or have the original 451 got it down to 5800 with driver and still have some more room to lighten. It is available with either motor or both motors or as a complete group of parts and tractors. I don"t think you will have any trouble getting to your 6000 goal with any of these rears and especially with the 7 or 830.
