oliver 88 propane

To all of you Oliver experts out there, I picked up an 51-52 oliver 88 row crop propane that is clean and runs excellant has all the tin, did oliver produse these or were they switched over to propane by an after market. don"t really plan on keeping this,so are they worth anything. thanks.

Oliver built some, some were converted. A picture might help determine which your tractor is.

I checked the tag on the tank and it shows 1964 so that prob tells me that it"s after market set-up.

Might have been replaced at one time or another. As mentioned before, pictures would help if any of the associated sheet metal is still there.

The only factory built LP Fleetline olivers had the tank standing up & had a round hole in the hood. The ones that lay crossways of the hood are conversions. On the super & 3 digit tractors both factory & conversion tanks mounted the same. On the factory setup , the bonnet over the gauges was flat with the top of the tank vs the conversion the bonnet ran & an angle towards the tank.
