Just google L-ion battery. I think you can get one that just weighs 10 pounds that will start your tractor. Kinda pricey though, and you will need their charger, also kinda pricey also. but whats a 1000 dollars to save 20 pounds. :-) Vic

That same arguement can be waged against most of tractor pulling.

spending 10's of thousands to drag a stone boat or Xfer sled with a hopped up tractor versus a stock one.

Even stock tractor pulling isnt cheap when you factor the fuel, the trailer, the tow rig, chain tie downs, etc etc.
