Just wanted to put my 2 cents in the ring.
-I thought the facility, the grounds, were a great place to have a pull.
-I thought the fellowship was great
-I thought the tracks were good, same for everyone
-I thought the sled operators did a great job
-I thought the competition was unbelievable
Yes I do believe they will do it better.
And HELL yes I would go back.
I had a great time, The Mystery Machine!!!

If you had a good time you should go to a USAP pull or come to southern IL to some of Manke pulls and really enjoy your self. In my eyes booth sleds did a fine job. I have pulled in KY IN MO IL AND IOWA in the last 15 years and the most greedy people and cluster f;;k pull I have ever ben too. Ten dollars to get in gate for the pullers two days in a row is ridiculous. I missed the fight but I can see by the end of the day how the nerves would be getting short. Went last year and had a great time. Don't know what happen but this year was a mess. I wont be back unless there are a lot of changes made. Now I guess I will go fix my eight bracket cause they let you get 2 feet from wall before they called it a full pull. LEROY BRAVE

Well, I can't argue with anything you wrote. I believe they'll do better because I don't think they can do much worse.

You have to acknowledge they left a sled sitting still when they could have been running tractors. This went on for a few hours. There was no excuse for that. They left some of us there until late at night when we could have been on the road headed home.

In my opinion the pull was a success, yes I agree there are some changes that need to be made and I'am sure Tom will be willing to make changes next year! For the first time to put on a big antique pull, I think the classes ran through smooth and they kept the tractors up to pull in pulling order and ready to pull. Had someone at the weight scales which was good too. I didn't think, for whatever reason, to stop running one of the sleds was a very good idea. but I'am sure after hearing the complaints of the pullers that will not happen again. As far as pull lasting so late, I know they realize the pull should have been started earlier, after seeing the number of tractors there and all the classes that were lined up in a day. We were at a pull last fall in Tenn., the pull started early that morning and wasn't over till 12:00 that night. That's the way it works out when you have a good pull and a lot of tractors there. I hear they are hopefully planning on making it a two-day pull. I know that Tom and Nadia put a lot of time and effort on the pull to make it a good one and to make it a family event too! I think they did a good job!! It's hard to please everyone at a big pull. Saw a lot of our good friends, Good time of fellowship and pulling!! (Tom's daddy is a "blast")!!! "Barney Fife" was good too!! Hope to see everyone there again next year!!!!

They proably will not have to start earler next year because I would guess they will have half the tractors they had this year.

When the red sled had less than 30 hooks left and they shut him down was when they made a mistake. He was averaging that many hooks per hour on Friday. We all could have been done at 8, but Tom made the decision. He wanted the show to go until 8.
If you thought the classes ran through smooth, you weren't there at the end. It was a cluster. Never have I seen a track official lose his cool and ready to pull a man off a tractor. Totally uncalled for. So when he got shoved when he rushed the tractor, shoved back and then got popped, he pretty much asked for it.

There is a lot of work that needs to be done in order for me to go back. I went because it was the first opportunity I had to run my new tractor. I hauled 5 hours to wait 10 1/2 hours to pull. Pretty poorly run and not very smooth if you ask me.
