lowering factory farmall front end

I've seen a few rigs around that has a factory front end and it has been lowered. How are people doing this. Up here we have to run factory front ends. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I built mine using 4" pipe and hubs from an allis b/c. It looks like A factory made front pedestal and light. It was also very cheap, except for hard to find 5 bolt wheels. Most likely if it is lowered, it has been switched out with a smaller model front?

On farmall use 460 bolster n 140 rims

Will the 460 bolster direct bolt into a 560?

Farmall 460 and 560 use the same pedestal. If you want to lower it put a pedestal off of a 656. That is a direct bolt on. If you want it lower and want to do a little work, put a pedestal off of a 340 or 404. Been there done that.

Yes the 460 will bolt right on the 560. And yes the 460 is about a 1 1/2 inches shorter than a 560.
