gtx thats a bad idea. cast iron it brittle an old frame breaking can be a real mess...many v8s are running700 hp.

I know you're in Wisconsin but where about will he be pulling that beast? Not many classes around where I go for tractors like that.

Other than a couple county fairs there really arent any classes around here you are correct. This is the 2nd v8 hes built. Hopefully seeing this one will get other people to start building them. Lots of people say they want to build one around here but no one will follow through. Hopefully this will get some ideas rolling around and get more V8"s running and or perhaps my buddy will start building rolling chassis to sell.

Where are you from schim? We have a stockish bbc in an m farmall. 5500 rpm steel flywheel,blanket,tie bars. Pull on blacktop sw wi area.
