I have my super m stripped down to 5050 with me on it. Is there any other ways to get it down to 4500 easy. I have pressed steel front and back. 16.9 on back. Aluminum belly bracket rear aluminum brack, no belly pump, no alternator, light weight battery, light seat. Any other suggestions? Thanks

I have a 52 super M and can make 4500. No aluminum yet. different frt end no pto no belt pulley all extra's (lights etc off)homemade seat, 16.9 34 steel wheels and very little oil in rear end. depends on the scale but most times im around 4400-4500 no weights and me on it. Theres more to loose but just to say it is very possible.

Remove the pto and shaft. The weight of your tires is also a big factor go with out tubes. or a lower ply tire that is good that is less weight. They make radiators that don't weigh much also. Everything is out there just go to some of the pulls and look at the tractors. Most good competitors will give advice because they like competition and are good people.

I'll have to look into some more rules. I know up here they don't let us do a lot of fabrication without them trying to disqualify you. I've learned that with my H. And curt I know there are a lot of M's around here that are running 4000 or 4500. Just they have a lot more money into them to get to that weight with topcovers etc. I just decided to put my money were it counted. My motor.

That is the best place to put your money, good call. You can get them as light as you want but they usually pull better heavier anyway.

some people clean the transmission good, fill with foam, then put just enough oil in to cover the bottom of the bull gear . saves a little weight .
