Step head IHC pistons. Fit 706

We need 3 3/4 or 3 11/16 flat head pistons and sleeves. Is there enough metal on the top of these to machine off and make flat. Also how long are the sleeves. A lot cheaper if we use something standard. Thanks Vic

Im guessing you have a 263 block. I made one for a customer a few years back with a stock crank and rods and used 283 chevy pistons. 3 7/8 bore. You may want to look in to it.

Thanks. But we have a 265 Chrysler flathead block. We have used 3. 11/16 pistons from a New Dodge V8. But are looking for something with the pin down a little, to help cam clearance.
