It is my sad duty to report the passing of Rick Allbright. Rick was well known throughout the eastern New York area. His good humor and fellowship will be sorely missed. He was always willing to lend advice or even let people drive his tractor. This was especially true if the one wanting to drive his tractor happened to be female:)....Ironic that this sunday would have been the 28th edition of his annual "Deer and Beer" mid winter gathering he hosted where tractor pullers and friends would gather to chow down and shoot the breeze...RIP old friend......

Thanks Jim: As you know Rick and I were friends and competitors. The last three years Rick and I became better friends each year. His party was GREAT. It was a good time for all the guys to see each other again during the winter. You remember that I put his picture on the cover of the Antique Puller magazine last year. You were ther when I presented the picture of the cover to him just before it came out. He thought his picture on the cover was Great. It seemed that wherever I went someone knew him. He had friends everywhere. It's nice to see that his dog and best friend Farmall is going with him. There is a picture of him and Duane Hotaling's wife which was his nurse when he was in the hospital that he really thought a lot of, which was in the May/ June 2012 issue of the magazine. I guess I just can't say enough about what Ricky did for the tractor pulling sport and how he treated all the pullers and helped who ever needed it. Rick I am sure everyone Thanks You and I Thank You for the chance to have met you and became friends. I am Really going to miss you. RIP my Friend. BobZ
