Fred I had planned on coming down for the weekend but a snag or two in my plans Friday kept me back at the office; I had the van packed but ran out of time. I would have liked to have been there.

Weather is biting us pretty hard right now. I can't remember in my life when we've had multiple dips below zero in one winter in Kentucky, and we're starting into our second one. I have other thoughts but I don't think anyone wants to see a novel out of me right now. I will say to end this is that I enjoy the pulls in Florida and hope to get back down there soon.

I don"t know how you drive the distance to all of those pulls. In good weather it would be a task today I got 40 miles from the house and had to turn around because the roads were closed and I was in a 4 wheel drive diesel truck. You are giving a lot of effort to make that magazine. I respect that.

Dave I do it because I enjoy the sport but most importantly the people I meet at pulls. For a good example, there's a handful of guys from both sides of the river that put as many or more miles as I do in the wintertime to make the NATPA circuit. You don't drive from New York to Lincoln, NE or from South Dakota to Corunna by accident! You gotta love the sport, the competition, and the people. That's why I'm here and why I do what I do.
