customer service

I would like to share an example of what i feel is how customer service should be.

I have been talking to cap bros about purchasing a set of 9 bolt hubs for a farmall h.

The following is a brief email conversation we had.

On Nov 18, I wrote: Hey Pete. What's your time line on hubs for a farmall h? ..... Thanks Pete.

On Nov 20 Pete wrote: At this point I will have a big stock order ready the 2nd week of December.I will put you down on my list to ship a pair as soon as I get back from Tunica. Call me at some point.......

On Nov 20 I wrote:  Don't plan on shipping just yet Pete. If I decide I need wheel centers as well, then I will get them shipped together. Just want to get an order started for hubs....

On Nov 25 Pete wrote: Your hubs are in the works.  I will get a hold of you the second week of December after I get back from Tunica to get your credit card info....

On Dec 16 Pete wrote: I have a set of hubs ready for your H Farmall.  Give me a call so I can get your CC info.  It looks like UPS will be about the best option for shipping....

After this email came in, I called cap bros. On the 3 rd ring, Pete picked up. We discussed shipping, and i gave Pete my info. He told me my parts would be out the door before Christmas. We wished each other merry Christmas, and hung up.

Some time in early January, the big brown truck will be dropping parts in my yard.

What really impressed me is that Pete was always quick at responding to my emails, he contacted me when he said he would, and the parts were ready when he said they would be. So far i am very happy with customer service from cap bros.
 
Had a very similar pleasant experience with Jeff at murphys motor service. From the first call to having it in my hand was exactly 10 days.
 
if you order a something he has on the shelf he is quick . I ordered a set of rods and waited 8 months for them every time I called he would say 30 days. They are great rods just a long wait.
 
I will second that motion for Cap bros. motorsports. I got a set of hubs from them for my H. Very good to deal with. Thank you Cap bros.
 
email, heck he text me from time to time and always has help full info...pete is a great guy.......so is jeff is calls you back later in the day....and helps you as well...
