172 in a 900 ford

Eric - There is an overbore kit that will give you 184 cubic inches. You can also find an industrial motor from wood chippers etc. that bolt right in and are 192 cubic inch.

Eric, I believe that the strongest one in existence right now is Jay Scasso's. I believe that he is in Armenia NY, right across the state line from Sharron CT. He and Roger Elwood of Sharon go to pulls together all the time. You can reach him through Roger at Sharon Autobody. Tell Roger that I referred you.

What are your goals? Stock, Modified,?. There are more that a few ways to build one depending on what you want to accomplish.

4.125-4.25" bore and a 4.75-5" crank, with some head work would be a nice piece... Not sure, but I think Gary Baker built Arnold Martins 960, and that is a runner!!!

Want to run some rpm but not crazzy how far can you go and still be reliable what kind of power can you get out out of these motors
