Farmall M wheel base

I'm looking to find out what was the longest wheel base for any of the Farmall M's.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you don't count the SMTA. They had a wide front that could be used that moved the front wheels a good bit forward. MD upper bolster moves the narrow front bolt up point 1.5 inches forward compared to a M bolster.

You can find wheel base numbers listed all over the place. One reason is from a M to SM tractors part of the narrow front bolsters had a different caster angle and some list the distance for a wide front without saying its a wide front. Some must be rounded off.
With the same lower bolster M and SM gas is close to 89.25 inches. MD and SMD close to 1.5 to 1.625 longer. SMTA gas or diesel close to 95.75.
Wide front SMTA 99.75. They did offer a special wide for a SMTA for beet harvester use like one type used on M and SM. Don't know that wheel base but it would be a good bit longer.

There is a factory wide front that when mounted

in the forward most position gives a 113 inch

wheelbase. It's an ugly thing, pivot point for front

end is ahead of mounting base. Steering linkage is

in front of center tube. Turning diameter is

huge, many discarded for aftermarket or later IH

wide fronts.
