I got a 39 John Deere A with stock stroke, stock connecting rods, flat head, and 90 M&W oversize aluminium pistons. Does anyone know how much space i have before the piston hits the head? The motor is togther and trying to decide if i have enough room to make tearing apart the engine back apart worth it. Thanks

Not sure how radical your wanting to go, but a crank from a 40-46 model A is a 1/4" more stroke, thus you will get a little more on the compression end as well.
