what is the bigest bore u can go to and still run water in the jugs.. im wanting to use a 5.250 bore can i still run water? thanks

ask Tim Yates he'll tell you . my 403 is 4.625 bore stock .

Boring the factory jug you can go to 4.81" and still run water and have durability. 4.875" will fit in factory jug and not last very long. Any size past that you need to have the jugs resleeved. My 5.75" has water all the way through and doesnt leak a drop. Solid jugs are the only way to go for BIG sizes.

you can go to 5.319 with a hd800 jug or 5.5 if you bore it but this will require machine work to the crankcase.
