No need for a 0.6 ohm or even 1.5ohm coil .This engine has lots of dwell time to rebuild the magnetic field in the coil. Voltage and energy required to spark those plugs is modest too. Use a 3.0 ohm, 12V coil and spiral wound ignition wires . Autolite 216 or 3116 plugs .

Thanks. 3116s are my plug of choice. Shes now sporting a 12V coil w/3.0 ohms, Spiral wound wires already on it. Now sporting a WICO DB dist. with points. Ignitor is on it's way back to Pertronix for checking.
