Hey Guys:

Ive got a 1952-1953 model john deere 60. We have a local club that is 3500-9500# 3mph class. I was wondering roughly what my 60 may weigh. 13.6-38 tires on window (oval hole rim centers), no power steering or 3 point, roll o matic front end, no fenders.

Any way of getting it into 5500 pound class with 200 pound driver? Dont think i will do so well with 6500 and up classes, to may oliver 88, cockshutts, and 4010"s in 6500-7500 and up as this is a stock tractor.

Thanks

Tractor will be a puller only or still wanting to use it on the farm ?
Aluminum front rims, toss the heavy cast "radiator/aircleaner/exhaust support". Remove all hydraulics.Replace transmission top cover with aluminum. Cut axles shorter. Stamped steel rear rims and remove all pto parts. Rockshaft and power-trol still on there?

mine with single front wheel (power steering) 16.9x34 pressed steel on rear and all brackets is in the 48-4900 range empty. its for sale too ;)
