Got a 6-1 powerblock that i was having an inteligent machinist, or so i thought put sleeves in it and he bored the sleeve out and the dougnut out in the end of the block. He quit when he nicked the head stud hole. does any one know if a guy can get a doughnut machined to fit back in there and get it to stay? Or am i just out

Agree with Jack. Take it to small claims...it's quite easy to explain what he did wrong, and you can easily get verification that it was worth a grand. Pursue this!

I"m not sure what you meant when you said that he nicked the stud hole but if he didn"t bore it so far that it cant be taken a little farther at the TOP of the cylinders, there are companies that make sleeves that have the ring made on the top of the sleeve and if your block or jugs can be bored at the top, the head and then the block traps the sleeves to keep them from moving. If he hit a stud hole, I"m afraid you have nothing left. If so take hi to small claims and you will win I"m sure of it.
