fuel prices

well finally ran through the barrel of 110 that I got 3 years ago.
im experiencing sticker shock now. cheapest I have found is 7.50/gal for 55 gal drum.
wondering if e-85 will work in a 11.5-1 motor with 280 cranking pressure.
thanks
Eric

I have heard good and bad on E85...its harsh on components from what I hear.I have a 88 thats 250psi static...I mix c12 and super unleaded and am happy with the results...C12 is right about 12 a gallon here.

Do you want me to check prices here. I am planning on come to Boonville this comeing week end. Leroy PS I have went trough 3 barrels since then.

that would be great Leroy. or send me the number of the place you get it from.
I won't be at Boonville, we are not putting that pull on. I will be in odin visiting mom.
Thanks
Eric

Well you found it cheaper then I did. They are at 438 plus taxes which according to my figures is 8.76 per gal. How come your not coming to Boonville afraid of my H? We are coming Fri because Judy wants to go through fleas. I can bring one if you are going to be around Fri.

i run e85 in wc for as long as i have been pulling it, no bad efects, so far, will eat sediment bowl gasket up, hasnt hurt anything else , need to drill power jet out quite a bit to get to run right,

280psi cranking pressure is beyond the point of diminishing returns. That engine needs more cam to increase the amount of air/fuel mixture through the engine.
