Pumpkin Pull 2013 in the books.

I would like to thank all the pullers that braved the weather at Munsell Farms for another great weekend of pulling. We seen a few new faces this year and are very great full that you trucked the long distance you did. I will be posting pics in a little bit as the wife downloads the camera. And a special THANK YOU to the Munsell Family for all the hard work you did to make the pull happen . Trucker

I heard a rumor that a WC Allis with legal tires and a stock block was not allowed to pull, any reason for that?

Well when you are running 13 x 28 tires they equal in modern tire size 14.9 x 28 . The tractor in question was only not allowed to pull in one class. It was his choice to pack up and go home. But he returned later and had a long talk with our pulling committee and there were hand shakes all around . OUR club rules Plainly state tires no bigger than 13.6 allowed in 3600 lbs class. It was a shame not to see you and your brother there,It took a lot of power and driver experience to place.

Come on over SHAGGY there is a motel just up the road if you don't have a camper. Just sold my Farmall B to a friend to make a little room but still have my Hot Rod A.

I thought they were 13-24's which are about 10-15 square inches LESS than 13.6 x 28 like the rules say. If anything that should be MORE legal than ANY 28 on a WC...did I hear wrong?

I also heard there is a white 36 WC with 36" spokes and no single front and a pressed steel rear end that pulled in the same class..how is this LESS wrong?

OR Did I just misunderstand the situations?

There was no white wc that pulled this weekend. I don't even remember seeing a white wc on the property.
As far as the tire size rule I didn't make it. It was put there 22yrs ago by the founding members.
WE HAVE no sq in rule just the following break down. 2600 class 12.4 is the biggest allowed, 3600 class 13.6 is the biggest allowed, 4600 14.9 is the biggest allowed, 5600 15.5 is the biggest allowed, 6600 16.9 is the biggest allowed.

When I come to pull at other clubs pulls I follow their rules plain and simple. ALL WE ASK IS THE SAME common courtesy for our rules. The rules are on our website and available to any pullers at the pull.

The facts were simply explaned from super trucker but I will qoute the rule.

#12. Maximum rim width of 10 inches will be allowed in the 2600lb, 11 for the 3600lb 12 for 4600lb 13 for 5600Lb 14 for 6600lb classes. Maximum tire width for 2600=12.4, 3600=13.9, 4600=14.9, 5600=15.5, 6600=16.9.

(quoted from post at 20:58:24 10/06/13) Well when you are running 13 x 28 tires they equal in modern tire size 14.9 x 28 . The tractor in question was only not allowed to pull in one class. Thank you for setting that straight, figured there was more to the story than I heard, which was second hand.

I was busy Saturday and cut my stock tires for my A so couldn't bring that on Sunday, I always enjoy the pumpkin pull. Munsells always have a good power track.

I was under the impression that the tractor in question was running 24" rubber, which is smaller than the rule..every club I have EVER seen with a tire limit chose the tire based on square inch foot print. So you let a 13.9x36 in but not a 14.9x24?? Sounds like whoever got involved in writing your rules wrote them for themselves...oh...wait...dont that white WC run 36" spokes? Thats about the only one around..

Just repeating what Ive heard..

Shifty the first thing you should do before you go to pull with a different club is educate yourself on the rules if you don"t like the rules then stay home , if you show up uneducated and can"t pull go pi$$ and moan to yourself because its you stupidity.
As for wc with 36 inch rubber it was not at the pumkin pull the only time that tractor has ever pulled at our club was on steel !

If you people let that white tractor pull at your club Evan with steel wheels you people don't no what a stock tractor is as far as a block sheet metal and a rear end as well as a under drive in it I think you guys should have let that guy pull that had the 24 inch tires he was under the 13/6/28 rule but its your pull on the other hand what about the guy that pulled the sled out of bounds I never heard it announced during the pull only at the drivers meeting oh I forgot he was club member thats why it was never announced again so the guys that got there a little late never new that you could go out of boundswwhen hook up to the sled bad call on your club as well as the announcer oh well not my problem but I bet that guy will never pull there again as you people have said it all ended in a handshake

Our club has run for 22 years just fine without the likes of you so suit your self we dont need the hassle of dealing with people like you !

Hey I've got a stalker. Why do you keep beating a dead horse? I would of gladly let you pull one of the 3 I had there. It's no secret who I am why don't you call you have my number.

OK than so the next time you guys have a steel wheel pull are you going to let the white WC pull well if you to your club is wrong an WC never came with a under drive or overdrive so what are you going to do about that that tractor is illegal or is he a CLUB MEMBER god nows who is telling the truth you people need to check things out better GOOD DAY

Nope not a member !
The white tractor is irrelevant to this past weekend , it was at our show once for steel and has not been back since , you are the one with an issue so get over it !

Oh OK now I get it you and the white WC are buddies wow I no you are defending him do you two spoon togather if not maybe you should

What is the problem with the white WC?

I have pulled against it before, and never noticed any reason it should not pull.

For one thing you are
dumber than what I
thought you was it
does not have a stock
block it has a under
drive in it that was
never offered from the
factory it was an dealer
option it does not have
the correct front end
under it to have 36
inch tires it has to have
a single front wheel in
1937 they never had a
steel rear ends in a WC
but I no that you are
going to say its a
replacement part . If
you can't look at that
tractor and see what's
wrong with it than
everyone needs their
eyes check

You must be a real idiot as I stated before the wc in question was at our show once and has not been back , as for the member comment the owner of the wc is not member. I however have been a member for 20 years , of course if you understood what you read I would not have to tell you that. If you don't like our pull don't come back , in fact I just think you pi $$ed you got you butt handed to you by some tractors that are closer to stock than yours . So you need to put on you big boy nnalert and except it !

I pull with the Hudson Mills club a lot, and am a member there also, not sure why you are trying to stir up trouble.

First things first the white WC has never been to Hudson Mill
it not stock but has been to county line and pull steel. So
stop crying about the rules and being a legal tractor like some
people do or read the rules for that cub before going they do a great job there . JD A he was on a stock farmall 300 that day

Hello
To whom it may concern I'm the individual that had the issue with the tires at the pumpkin pull. To get things straight it was a misunderstanding between myself and the club the member who told me that I was good to pull on that day but I wasn't we have north learned a lesson since then we have manned up to each other said we were sorry and went on our way we have no problems unlike some of you people who keep on beating a dead horse you people need to mind your own business Its old Grow Up move on as I read some of the post laugh and as far as what person brought what tractor I DON'T care what you brung i go out and have fun so all of you people who think Its me about saying something about that WC you people can kiss my .... where the sun doesn't shine and you more who you are... thanks. Dave
