I see a lot of m farmalls pulling. Thought about building one to get down to lighter classes. Would you guys use piston or lp head to gain some power?

The LP head is a good investment that will still be there when you decide you need to go bigger.... where the pistons will need to find a new home when you go bigger

yes go with a lp head very good investment....for the same money as stock valves get oversized valves installed in it as well then the head work will be done other than porting in future.......
