How much work.does it take. to get a 6inch stroke.by 4 inch bore in a c 169 or c175 IH block can anyone give me some info on.details thanks

Have you seen a tractor that did this before? Those are sleeved motors so I would guess that replacing with bigger sleeves and pistons from some other motor is the way to do it.

3.80 Will go in a 175 block,Just did one.Remove sleeves and finish bore.193 cid with stock stroke.Murphys sells a kit 3.80x5.50 I think billet rods no grinding about 5K though.

Still working out a few little bugs with carb and ignition,Engine worked out great.Has good snot for a stock stroke engine.Last pull we managed to run 2nd gear in 5500lb class with enough to spin the tires,Have 15.5s on it at the moment,I think 13.6 would be perfect on it.Baker had the pistons built for me,and he did the cam also.Great little puller for 3500 and 4000.
