radial or bias

the one downfall of radials is that if youre pulling antique many clubs do not allow them.

I like radials on my farm stock puller. Only down fall is they are heavier.

our club allows radials , I can't say they are any better pulling than bias but they are better farming they save gas . I want a good hard tire pulling and radials always wrinkle down , old bias don't wrinkle

I never thought much difference on radials untill I pulled on a wet track one night. Most people were having a hard time even moving the sled, but I made a full pull. Second place tractor was 81 feet behind me. That was 18.4/34 firestone radials in the 7000lb class.

I"ve seen several people try both, and most end up deciding that the bias are the best all around tire. I"m not really sure why a lot of clubs don"t allow radials.
