IH LP head value

Is there any value in a uc-221 lp engine. Higher compression head? Thanks it's a power unit engine

Josh, Im not certain but I think on the 460-560-660 the compression was made up for the LP tractors out of the pistons, and that the heads were not special, as they were on the h,m,300, 400 etc.

Id still think a good casting would be worth a couple hundred bucks?

The man is right. It was made up in the pistons. get better gov. Of newer tractor

I think there was a 301LP head,I worked on one years ago for my father,The man he bought it from said it was a LP head and it did have smaller chambers and was more open than a stock 301 head we had...But if it was truely a LP head I don"t know for sure.
