Case 2290 puller

what will it take to make a 2290 case a good farm stock puller thinking of making one for next year is it a good idea or should I go for something else.

They have a good motor, and will run even better with more fuel and air. I would run some 18.4 38 radials or maybe even some 20.8. I believe it came with 34's from the factory. Should be a capable farm stock puller.

Depends how much power you're planning on making. The torque limiter will be your first issue, next will be the powershift. You might be better off with a 70 series 8 speed!!!
