Oliver 77 Power

I have an oliver 77. it has an overbore bigger valves and torque cam. was actually surprised with the power when I first pulled it. I pulled 4000 open gear in 3rd gear just to see. and it actually did good. any ideas of how to get more power out of it? thanks

That sounds like my 77 and it has similar power. IMO you"ll need a bigger engine to pull in 4 th gear. I preffer MPH classes with the way mine is built.

Is this a gas? Does it have 3 3/4" pistons?
Late Oliver 550s had 1.453 intake 1.400 exhaust valves what size do you have now? Have you turned up the rpms?
