How much does a gas 88 weigh? No fluid, cast center rear wheels, 15.5x38, still has the belt pulley and hydraulics. Thanks

I have a couple of these.....going to weight in right at 5200 without a driver. Of course this depends on how much oil is in the rear end, & gas in the tank.

That"s not good, I"m planning to pull 5000 pound class. Any quick ways to drop the weight?

Either put pressed steel on the back instead of cast or pull the hydraulics and belt pulley out. I have a S88 with pressed steel no hydro no belt pulley and it weighs 4000 empty

you shouldn't have any problem getting to that weight with tin wheels. Nebraska test with a 200 lb. driver weighs 5285 .

I've been having a hard time finding pressed steel wheels, I'll just have to keep looking. Any idea how much weight I can drop by taking the heavy front hubs off?

I think you will make 5000 if you drop 2 of the following; heavy front hubs, hyd, belt pulley or pto shaft and housing. I'm at 6000 with 3 sets of weights, and everything but the hyd

I weighed them at one time but forget. I think if you swap light hubs for heavy you will lose 50-60lbs. Call korves and get a flat top cover and a belt pulley eliminator kit. In a couple hours you will have your weight problem solved
