super m has faster gears and tcylinders can be bored more than m

An M and Super M have the same first gear. 2nd thru 4 are faster in a super M. If you are going to pull 2nd gear at 3 mph I would suggest the M.

We have an M which has the factory low speed first gear or cornpicker gear it"s been called.Serial number ends in X1A.Goes 1 mph in first and reverse.Always liked it for backing hay wagons up into the bank barn without slipping the clutch.

If either of them has the low first I'd go there. You won't need it with the M in the 6500 lbs class. But if you wanted to go real heavy like over 8000# you might. My H has the low low first serial 948248X1A and I don't think it would pull 6500 lbs class without that low low.
