1466 with NO clutch

I put a dt466 motor in my 1466 with a double disc clutch...I started the motor for the first time a couple of days ago...jumped on it to drive it around to for the motor to break in...I put in gear and lunged forward about 6 inches...but I have no clutch. I dont know if tourque is out (motor was blown when i got it) is there any adjustments that need to be made with a double disc clutch? and how? The orginal clutch was worn really bad! Any help is appreciated..Thanks in advance!

if you can look inside through a cover and check to see if your throw out is working . you may have to cleerance.

Is your clutch pedal going all the way down to the deckplate or does it stop before it gets there. Make sure all the adjustments are right on he clutch linkage. If it has a hydraulic assist clutch it needs to be adjusted as well. Also make sure the clutch brake isnt holding you up.

with the double disc you will have to cut he end of the release brg tube off or it will hit the outside center hub, but to back up abit when you say no clutch do you mean it wont pull or not release

My mistake, I should have called it a tranny brake. It is on the right side of the transmission and needs to be unhooked when adjusting the clutch and it is adjusted last.

the throw out bearing is hitting the fingers on the pressure plate but does not push them in very far...I my dump valve on mcv was un hooked i reattached it but still did not make a difference
