what does cap bros hubs cost $ ,will they hold up to 500hp ? seems like there tapper lock, could be a problem to get loose again .

If anyone has any pictures or knowledge of the hubs, feel free to chime in, I"m also interested!

I've got a JD 70, I believe has a 3.125" axle but from what I see of his pictures I need a hub with a key, not a keyway(like his pictures show). Also, how does it "lock" on the axle? I've heard someone saying a taper lock, what is this?

And....he gives the option of nuts in the hub or studs....which is the better option?

TAPER LOCK LIKE BROWNING HUBS FOR ELECTRICAL MOTORS,AWESOME JUST DO NOT USE NEVER SEIZE,THEY DO STAY TIGHT.Some guys use them that are 1200 cubic inch and a lot of torque.

So is the taper lock keyed then? I'd think it would be best to utilize the keyway already in the axle.....
