G water in exhaust Update

Well yesterday I pulled the valve cover and then rocker arm assembly. The tractor had been warmed up and then we re-torqued the head. Once assembling the rocker arm assembly I had the plugs out and cranked over the motor. On the number two cylinder it was chugging out water.. So that shot down the plans for a tractor pull this weekend. I pulled the rocker arm and everything off and ended up pulling the head. On the head gasket there was no noticeable damage. In number two there was a lot of water. So from what u guys have responded the head between the valves seems to be the weak spot. I need to get it magna fluxed first and see whats going on. It was loosing a lot of water so im hoping it the head and not the block. I found a good head and Im tempted to get it and throw everything back together but Idk.. Any thoughts?

What kind of head is on it? Flat head? Take that head and set it up so ports are up, with manifold removed, valves still in, pour water in intake and exhaust ports to the top and see where it is leaking.

If no leaks, get it checked for cracks, maybe its not the head. You wouldn't want to buy a different head and find out that its the block.
