Is a 7.25 crank possible in a RD 450? If so how much is involved?

I kinda doubt it in a 450. Maybe in a 501 its possible. M. Genrich should be able to tell you what you need to know. He has a 501 thats 7.125.

I dont think you can get it to swing in a 450 block. Not only are you going to have a really thin cam Its going to be tight on the bottom of the bores. I never tryed it in a 450 but I know what 7.125 takes in a 501 block. When IH lowered the crank in the 501 it helped a bunch.
