I also agree with the positive comments below. I too have met Jim at tunica pull, I dont know him very well but appears to be a great guy and watch him watch the track... he brings his game face to the pull. He has the best set up for the track rather its tires/weight and driving skills and or a combo of all of them.
I have seen many good tractors pull against him and the owners omit they messed up should of put another weight there... wrong tires for the class and so on.
From my understanding he bulids motors so I am sure that only helps him . Im sure he knows a few tricks with building engines.
To the original message... $27,500 for a 100 hp M ? well if you think thats only a 100 hp, go build a 100 hp M or tractor and go pull against Jim. I will bet you $27,500 that you will never beat Jim on his worst day. You might want to stay out of his class.
I also have several videos of his winning big Pulls and can tell you this there was no floating hitch his front end was down the whole time and he knew when to open are up and make that engine sing.
