Finishing up my G for the 2013 summer and bought a new tractor to start on will be running a gasser Deere.. I don"t have much experience with 6 cylinders and running high rpm so a few questions.. I"m going to run a steel flywheel and cold clutch set up along with a blanket. How many Rpms can I spin safely out of a 4 main Deere block? Will it hold up or should I juste note the bullet and get a diesel block with 7 mains.. Also in a high rpm motor do they hold up better when the bore and stroke match? Say a 4.5x4.5 motor would it hold up better than a 4.5 bore by 5 stroke. Just looking for some opinions.. Thanks in advance..
