i got a farmall h with the stock c-152 and i got a c-175 motor all in parts should i stroke it or just do a basic rebuild on the 175? i want to have roughly 80hp if doable.i got my 350 head with bigger valves.Probably wont be doing it now but i wanna get prices together. thanks.

you'd best bore and stroke all you can if you want to get a true 80 hp. unless of course you are going to turn scary rpms.

If you really are looking for 80hp, stroke it to 5.75" No less. Use the C175 block and run it without sleeves, 3.8125 bore. Or sleeve it as big as you can and hard block it. Chances are that if you want 80 horse now, that will never be enough.

ok who should i send the parts to? and a price range? also how do i know i wont be getting screwed out of my money sending parts and money to builder, thanks for all the info guys

Follow the advice of dblair. Send it to Gary Baker. If you go with a reputable builder you will be money ahead. If you try to save money thats when you feel like you're getting screwed.
