I have have the best luck with jell batteries like they use in boats if you have them up front on your weight bracket. That being said when i went to MSD box i gave up and strated runnin an alerantor.I dont have mine hooked that way put you can put a switch on them and shut it off while you are pulling and then turn it on and let it charge when you are not hooked to sled. |

| I have my alt on a switch. It will charge a lot more. It is a little Nipp one without a regulator. Type in smart batteries L-Lion (spe lling) I think a 40 anper hr one just weights 15 lb. |

| Careful when pouring high current and high voltage into any battery, lithium in particular. If the battery is warm to the touch, it's plenty. |

| I'm not using a L-Lithium battery in any of our tractors, But would like to in my golf cart. 3 of them are $1800 and the charger is 600 more. If you go for the 100 amper hr. ones they are like $6000 Maybe they will get cheaper! Vic |
