Last night the Club made a few changes.
Went to 4mph in cut tire classes
open speed and rpm in all 58 and older anygear classes
6 cyn. MM to pull in 61 and 66 pro any year
looking at changes in 12500 blower to be anounced
super farm stayed the same

Sounds good at least the speed part, not sure what the open rpms will do, should make for some interesting pulling

No Jerry you are wrong again they said if 6 cyl mm could prove they where made in 58 they could pull all of the class.Keep your sh strait.you pull this crap and wonder why you only draw 50 hooks.Leroy Brave.

i cant find where the g-vi was made in 1958.... the GB was made from 1955 to 1958 with the 6 cyl. diesel...

Replacing the GB the GVI was the last MM tractor to use the letter system for identification, it was produced from 1959 to 1962 when it was replaced by the G 705. Minneapolis Moline also produced the GVI's and G 704's as the Massey-Ferguson 95's and the Minneapolis-Moline G 705's, G 706's, G 707's, and the G 708's were produced as the Massey-Ferguson 97's. It is considered by some to be one of the downfalls of the company for three main reasons.

Are the 61 and 66 pro classes open speed again? If so, please post a schedule when it comes out and I will try to make a few events.

Thanks.

i will post the rules and dates on here when he gets them set i am also setting up a a face book page it is http://www.facebook.com/SoutheasternIllinoisTractorPullingAssociation so i need pics

Well Jerry i ssen have this changled 3 times and when it was over they pulled.it is juist like a 58 560.There is no need to argue here but if they have the proof an you tell them they cant pull me and you are going to have a prolem. Also the massey Fergson was made in 58.Enough said about it we will wait till summer and see what happens.

Not trying to start a war here, but I have never heard of or seen a 58 GVI minnie. If they did make them I would think someone somewhere would be pulling one
